Our Youth Ministries Program is broken down into two categories. Primary youth; which encompasses ages from pre-school up to fifth grade and our middle school/ high school youth that includes grades six through twelve.
Our groups gather for various faith, service, and fun activities. At least once a month each group will meet to work on a project or activity, sometimes they will be tied together. Some of the past services and activities have been: snow tubing, bowling, corn maze, basketball games, making cards for our homebound members, care packages for the college and military, fruit baskets and caroling. We also participate in several community meals: Shrove Tuesday, Rake and Run, and Kids Voting Community Project. Once or twice a year, the youth are in charge of the Sunday worship service. These are just a few of the projects and activities the youth are involved in.
There are also several camps the youth are able to participate in. Those are Winter Celebration, Seventh Day, Confirmation Camp, Lost and Found, and Kairos. We had seven youth attend the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans.
As you can see, there is always something that any youth can become a part of. Check out our Youth Bulletin Board and the monthly newsletter under “Youth Happenings”. Come see what we have to offer.
